About Me Welcome to Elevated Esthetics — I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Melissa Murray, and I am a Licensed Esthetician and the owner of Elevated Esthetics, located in Martinsburg, WV. My studio is conveniently situated at 323 Aikens Center, on the right side of the Valley College building, facing the Social Security Office, Copper Still Bar, and Comfort Inn. I specialize in professional luxury skincare treatments and select waxing services. To me, “elevated skincare” means combining advanced education, refined technique, and results-driven products to create truly personalized experiences. I am committed to ongoing training and continuing education so I can offer the most current, effective services available. My goal is to provide each client with a peaceful, stress-free environment where trust, comfort, and real results come first. You are more than clients — you are part of my community, and the relationships we build are at the heart of my practice and always will be. A Safe, Welcoming Space Elevated Esthetics is a judgment-free, inclusive environment where everyone is welcome. Inappropriate or rude behavior is not tolerated and will result in immediate termination of the service. Please be respectful. A Little More About Me When I’m not in the treatment room (or the treatment room running me!), you can find me at home with my family and fur babies — usually in no makeup and pajamas. I’m a loyal, honest person who values integrity above all else. I’m incredibly proud of my veteran husband, my son, my two adult children, my young granddaughter, my teen bonus daughter, and my extended family and friends who fill my life with love. Before esthetics, I spent more than 20 years in the dental field as a clinical and surgical assistant in both private practice and government settings. I later transitioned into dental insurance coordination and ultimately dental practice management. While I was grateful for that career, my true passion has always been skincare — and choosing to pursue it full-time has been one of the best decisions of my life. I adore anything that sparkles, crystals, coffee, travel, music, animals, skincare and makeup… and I have a lifelong obsession with Halloween, spooky season, Tim Burton, and The Nightmare Before Christmas. 🎃 Opening my own studio has been a dream come true, and I cannot wait to get to know you, care for your skin, and help you achieve confidence and long-lasting results. Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION POLICY: This outlines our Cancellation/No Show/Late arrival policies! I am so grateful you are here to allow me to care for your skin, and you! This applies to all of my clients and its important that you read and understand all of our policies. So Please Understand and Take Note: Everyones time is valuable, and I personally strive to provide all of my clients a positive and enjoyable relaxing experience. When you book your appointment with me, that time is reserved exclusively for you and I take time to set up my treatment room especially for you. Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do so at least 48 hours or more in advance, so that I may have time to schedule another client to take your place. Please understand, we are a small business and clients missing their reserved appointments effects us in many negative ways. Please note, you will not be charged a fee unless you no show, or cancel/reschedule within the 24 hours of the start of your scheduled appointment time(s). Cancellations & reschedules that occur less than than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time will result in being charged 50% of the fee of your scheduled service(s). The ONLY Exceptions are emergencies or sickness. Clients that fail to show or miss the appointment will be charged a "No Show" fee, which is also 50% of the original costs of the scheduled service(s). Late client arrivals run into another clients appointment time, please be on time and considerate and understanding. I also strive to be on time for all clients, and will make attempts to contact clients if I feel I am running behind. Coming earlier than 15 mins prior to your appointment does not get you seen before your scheduled time unless I message you letting you know that I am available sooner. Please do not arrive early expecting to be seen. Typically our door is locked and you cannot get in before your appointment for our safety. You are considered late and a no show 10 mins after your scheduled appointment time. No exceptions! Deposits are also non-refundable unless you appear for your appointment than it is applied to your service. Understandably, unforeseen emergencies & sickness happens, and those are the ONLY exceptions to my policy! So please, call/text and let me know and we can reschedule you. PLEASE, DO NOT come to see me if you are feeling SICK or have symptoms. Stay home and get better and come back on another day! There may come a time where I am sick myself, and possibly need to reschedule you. Let’s work together to stay healthy! If you routinely cancel due to the sickness policy, Elevated Esthetics reserves the right to ask for payment in full to be paid in advance in order to book your future appointments or to refuse future bookings at all.
